About Wanda

The founders I work with aren't stuck. They're carrying too much to see clearly.

I’m Wanda Cox, a Strategic Business Advisor for established women founders of online service businesses. My job is to find what’s actually stalling your momentum, name it plainly, and help you fix it in the right order. Usually it’s not what you think it is. It’s rarely that you need to work harder.

The Problem I Solve

Working harder stopped working. That's not a crisis. It's a signal.

You built a business that works. Your calendar is full, your clients get results, and your revenue would have thrilled you five years ago. But somewhere along the way, you became the load-bearing wall. Every decision routes through you. Every fire finds you. And the numbers that should tell you what’s happening live in six different tools, telling six different stories.

Most advice at this stage tells you to hustle differently. Post more. Launch something. Hire faster. I take a different route: we look at what your business is actually doing, decide where you’re going, and line up your time, team, and systems behind that answer. Data. Direction. Alignment. In that order, every time.

My Story

I've spent my whole career learning how businesses actually run.

I spent 24 years at Verizon, working across marketing, IT, and regulatory. Corporate life teaches you things a business book can’t: how decisions really get made, how data gets used and misused, and how much of “strategy” is just knowing what to ignore. I managed projects with international teams, worked both B2B and B2C, and learned to read an organization the way some people read a room.

Then I did something that surprised everyone, including me. While still at Verizon, I trained as a wellness coach, and when I left corporate in 2012, I opened my own coaching practice. Eight years in that world taught me the other half of the equation: businesses run on systems, but they’re carried by humans. A perfect plan that exhausts the person executing it is not a perfect plan.

In 2017, I stepped inside the online business world, first by supporting other coaches behind the scenes. The two halves of my career clicked together. I became a Certified Online Business Manager in 2019, a Certified Director of Operations in 2022, and a Certified AI Strategist in 2026. After nearly a decade inside online businesses, the pattern is always the same: the founders who grow sustainably aren’t the ones doing the most. They’re the ones who can see their business clearly enough to choose well.

That’s what I build with you. Clarity first. Then momentum.

How I work

Diagnostic first. Always.

I don’t start with a package or a playbook. I start by finding out what’s true. We look at your numbers and your energy side by side, because both are data, and both will tell you where the real bottleneck lives.

From there, the work follows the Momentum Method:

Data

We get an honest read on your business. Conversion consistency, client retention, capacity. Not a spreadsheet for its own sake, a clear story you can act on.

Direction

We map where you're going. Mission, vision, and values become a real plan: yearly milestones, quarterly priorities, and a short list of what matters now.

Alignment

We line up your time, team, and systems behind the plan so the business runs on structure rather than your stamina.

Some founders need one focused session. Some need a full strategic map. Some want a thinking partner in their corner for the long haul. We figure out the right fit on a call, and if I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so.
